Gerald "Jerry" Cohen has been an avid nature photographer for over 20 years.  Since retiring from Ernst & Young, Jerry has focused on expanding his creative palette by taking courses and workshops, including those led by Kathleen Clemons, John Barclay, Tony Sweet and the New England School of Photography.

In 2015, Jerry exhibited the Seaside Impressions series of images at the Dover Town Library.  The solo exhibition of photographs was displayed from January 13th to February 21st.  Also, Jerry was selected to participate in the 2015 Wellfleet Blossoms Exhibition for emerging artists.  In November 2015, he exhibited at the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham, MA.  The exhibition, Standing Seaside,  was a series of photographs taken at the National Seashore. 

Jerry was born in 1949 in Baltimore, Md.  He has a B.S. and M.B.A. degree from Lehigh University.  In 2012, he retired as a senior partner of Ernst & Young.  During his tenure there, he worked in the Philadelphia, New York and New England practices as well as the National office.  Jerry served as a member of the board of directors of New York's International Center of Photography for ten years.

Jerry lives in Brookline and Wellfleet with his wife Katherine, their son Benjamin and their two dogs and cat.
